Melanie is the CEO of Jang Su International Group. She started her career as a corporate banker specialising in structured trade and derivatives. 

She founded Alkalife Commercial SB as a brand licensee of Alkalifewater, importing and distribution of water ionizers and dispensers; targeting corporate market in 2014, has since grown organically and subsequently opened up a second branch in Johor. In 2018, Melanie and her seed investor acquired the primary brand owner, which has 20 years of track record in Malaysia. The group has since grown to 5 branches in Malaysia, 1 in Indonesia and another in Mauritius, and has clients globally across a span of 17 countries. 

In 2019, the group was partially acquired by a Conglomerate. With the strategic convergence of resources and leveraging on the infrastructure of new partners, her vision for the group is of global expansion, introducing a new beauty electronics and Health Supplements line of products. She built her second business in tech in year 2020; MID app trains and connects freelance technicians to consumers for repair and service household appliances and computers nationwide. Mid App has since grown organically to hit revenues of USD15k per month and has formed an MOU with Korean listed company Picogram. 

In year 2021, she together with family members formed a new team building establishment; Loom Ventures.
